Stephan Manpearl has been involved in the marketing and distribution of more than 500 films over the course of his 30 year career, from Blockbuster hits such as Star Trek, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Karate Kid, Out of Africa, Airplane and Flashdance, to independent successes including Heathers and Bloodsport.

He has a broad range of experience in entertainment working with companies including Paramount, Universal, Warner Brothers, Fox Films, Sony, well as Independents such as Lionsgate, Live/Artisan, New Line, and numerous producers, directors and production companies.

Manpearl is currently consulting for several prominent production companies and teaching a course titled Marketing Entertainment: Strategies for the Global Market at UCLA. Moreover he is a frequent speaker and invited panelist at numerous film conferences and film markets. He recently was a featured speaker to a group of visiting Korean media executives and Women in Film award winners. His speaking engagements have taken him to Germany, Canada as well.

Manpearl has a BS degree from Queens College New York and an MBA from Pepperdine University.
